File Claim

Although we strive for perfection at New City Moving, sometimes accidents do happen. If you have suffered loss of damage as a result of a local move, we request that you file a formal moving claim. This must be filed in writing within 9 months of the delivery of goods to your destination. Even if the damage is listed on the bill of lading, it's still mandatory for you to file a written claim in the form of a letter of claim form provided below on this webpage. You must be as descriptive as possible when mentioning any loss of damages and this must be accompanied by a copy of the inventory and/or your household goods bill of lading.

New City Moving will acknowledge ALL written claims within thirty days, and will either pay the claim, settle, or deny the claim within 120 days of receiving the claim. We recommend for our clients to keep any materials damaged in the event that we might need to inspect any damaged articles.
